The Little Prince
Collaborative Project
OVERVIEW
The goal for this project was to turn the familiar routine of a parent reading a book to their child in the evening, into a magical, memorable, and playfully engaging experience. We chose to explore a book loved by adults and children alike: The Little Prince. Small quote cards from the book act as prompts, allowing both of them to bring familiar characters to life through augmented reality.
SERVICES
3D Modelling, AR Design, Animation

The visual style is centred on the three iconic characters: The Little Prince, The Rose, and The Fox, reimagined as cute, large-headed origami-inspired figures. Their UV maps were printed, hand-painted, and digitally scanned to create textured, tactile surfaces that preserved the warmth of traditional illustration while existing within a digital space. This approach balanced nostalgia with a fresh visual identity.
OVERALL AESTHETIC

This project was developed in partnership with graphic designer Esha Wadhwani. While Esha designed the printed quote cards used to activate the AR components, I created the full AR experience, along with all 3D characters and animations.
COLLABORATION

Each card, when scanned, enabled users to interact with a corresponding character, adding depth and immersion to the physical publication.
